Page 2

The Matthew Shepard Memorial quilt is an artistic labor of love. The quilt stands as a testimony that there are many people in the world who care, who love and who remember those who were the victims of hate crimes. The quilt contains quilt blocks in memory of victims of crime. Additional photographs of quilt appear below.

The block on the top right of the photograph is in memory of Brandon Teena, a young transgendered individual who was killed.

The square on the top right hand of the photograph is in memory of Bill Clayton. After being beaten up for being bisexual, Bill Clayton took his life. For information about Bill Clayton's life and for Gabi Clayton's resources click here.
